I actually gave a stranger the idea to start floral preservation while shopping at a craft show event.
As I got in my car after that craft show I thought to myself, “Rachel, YOU should start pressing bouquets.”
And that is how Fort Flowers got started. As a full time wedding photographer, I see all kinds of beautiful bouquets- most of which get thrown away. I already knew how I could better serve my clients with an opportunity to have their bouquet pressed and preserved.
